This was a quick ditty with smaller chapters which was perfect for short bursts of reading time like in the waiting rooms of life. It was an easy read, fluid and engaging. This less than traditional rendering of the Christ story will be offensive to many traditional Christians but I found the perspective presented drew me in and opened new avenues of spiritual and intellectual investigation.Product details

I was not disappointed or let down by this book! Beautifully written. This is one of the few books I would not hesitate to recommend to my fellow Pagan friends. No complaints here! This book will have you hooked from the get go. It is hard to put down and easy to understand. Truly an unforgettable piece! 5 stars!
I purchased this book because it got so many positive reviews on a Facebook group I belong to, Pagan Bookshelf. What can I say....this book is excellent. The first thing I thought of is that it reads like a book out of the bible.....a pagan bible if there were one. Just reading the preface will have you hooked. And if you read the dedication at the beginning of the book, you'll understand the title. At least I did. All I can say is.....you have to read this book. It is thought provoking, uplifting, very intriguing and profound. This is a book I will read again and again....
This book examines the life of Jesus from multiple sources. Some of the verses will be familiar to Christians who have read the bible. Other verses come from other sources. The preface to the book is very thought provoking and discusses the motivations of the various authors who wrote about the life of Jesus. More than one source says that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married. Another source (probably not accurate)states that Jesus traveled to India and became familiar with Buhda's teachings. The book describes the love and wisdom of Jesus, which is especially evident in the later versus.
It gives a good tie in for understanding some of the "Christian" concepts found in some of the Hermetic studies.
I like this breakdown of the life of Jesus. It tells how he learned his wisdom. Some people might not like it since it says that his father was Elohim/Osiris and his mother was Mary/Isis. I have some of these beliefs, that all Gods/Goddesses are one and the same, two sides of the same coin, they just have different faces. They show the side of themselves that the people that worship them can understand.
